LIFF 2011 - home page

This year LIFF 2011 will be structured in several events:

LIFF - Battleship Mosfilm, a review about Russian Cinema produced by the famous Moscovite film production

company, now directed by Karen Shakhnazarov, guest of the festival. This event will take place on "De Gemmis"

Provincial Library terrace, from 5th to 8th July. The strong point of the event will be the big director Sergej

Eisenstein's drawings exhibition; about 50 drawings that will be shown in Bari Civic Museum, in Strada Sagges, in the

heart of the old city, from July to September. Free entry.

Liffriends - Cinema review about Internet and New Technologies. About 20 films will be screened on LIMBO 7

terrace, in the centre of the city, in Via Privata Muciaccia, 21/A from 11th July until 3rd August.

LIFF pop - In Japigia-Torre a Mare district, in Arena Giardino, we will screen 6 important films of the last year for

those who decide to spend their holidays at home. Every Thursday, from 21st July to 4th August and from 8th till 22nd

September. Free entry.

LIFF Awards. A 3-day-award-ceremony for films awarded by an International jury. Winner feature films (Custom

section), short films (Experience section) and documentaries (Investigation section) will be screened from 2nd till 4th

September on “Spazio Apulia” Corso Vittorio Emanuele 102/a, Bari. The authors winners of best film, best direction,

best actor, best actress, best story, best cinematography and best film editing awards will be present to the ceremony.

Free entry.

LIFF Workshops. 3 workshops will be held in September and October by some big representatives of drama,

cinematography and music. Restricted entry. Dates and locations are not yet defined.

Il Liff 2011 si articola secondo il seguente calendario di appuntamenti: Liff Corazzata Mosfilm - rassegna di cinema russo prodotto dalla gloriosa casa di produzione cinematografica

moscovita attualmente diretta da Karen Shakhnazarov, ospite del festival. Proiezioni ogni sera dal 5 all'8 luglio, sulla

Terrazza della Biblioteca Provinciale De Gemmis, nella meravigliosa cornice di Bari Vecchia. In parallelo, per tutto

luglio e settembre, mostra di disegni del grande regista russo Sergej Eisenstein: circa 50 tavole esposte al Museo

Civico della città di Bari, in strada Sagges, nel cuore del borgo antico. Presentata dal grande studioso Naum Kleiman,

direttore del Museo Russo del Cinema di Mosca. Tutto free.

Liff/Friends - rassegna di cinema sulla Rete e le Nuove Tecnologie, dall'11 luglio al 3 agosto. Circa 20 opere sulla

Terrazza di Limbo 7 in pieno centro città, in via privata Muciaccia 21/a. Accesso consentito ai soli tesserati alla

Associazione.

Liff Pop - rassegna di 6 successi cinematografici della passata stagione, per il grande pubblico che resta a casa

durante le vacanze. Tutti i giovedì, dal 21 luglio al 4 agosto e dall'8 al 22 settembre, in V circoscrizione Japigia-Torre

a Mare, presso l'Arena Giardino. Free.

Liff Awards - 3 giorni di premiazioni per i film in concorso. Lungometraggi (sezione Custom), corti (sezione

Experience) e documentari (sezione Investigation) vincitori - scelti da una giuria internazionale - saranno presentati al

pubblico dal 2 al 4 settembre presso lo Spazio Apulia, Corso Vittorio Emanuele 102/a, Bari. Presenti i premiati per

miglior film, miglior regia, miglior attore, miglior attrice, miglior soggetto, miglior fotografia e miglior montaggio. Free. Liff Workshops - nei mesi di settembre e ottobre, 3 workshop con grandi maestri della recitazione, della fotografia

cinematografica, della musica da film. Partecipazione a numero chiuso e a pagamento. Luoghi e date da definirsi. Infine, appuntamento in Rete per l'edizione n. 10 del LIFF!
